Our Mission

Whether it's sponsoring a local blanket drive to help the homeless right here in our own community, gathering the youth and heading to Tennessee for a week to help those in need in a different part of the country, or supporting missionaries around the world, we believe that Missions is the Mission of the Church, not just a program; that it consists of evangelism and discipleship leading to the establishment and/or strengthening of all bible-believing churches.

Lydia Hart

Meet Lydia Hart!

Lydia is a delightful young woman from our church family, striving to follow God's prompting for her life. Below is a portion of a recent blog she wrote that explains where she is at in her journey of pursuing God's plan for her life.  For updates on how her adventures are unfolding and to read her most recent blog, be sure to check out her blog at lydiahart.org.

"As many of you know, I am heading for a new adventure in October – moving to Spain! I want to share some about my decision, why I think it is worth it for me to invest six months of my life...

G42 Leadership Academy is a community of Christians with the purpose of growing world-changing leaders through the development of each intern’s unique God given gifts and passions. This is done through courses, living life together with the leaders and teachers, one-on-one mentorship, practicums and hands on ministry opportunities. After six months, interns are encouraged to step out and bring their ideas, skills and calling to life, to “say Amen and make a plan”. The leadership of G42 will continue to provide oversight, help, mentoring, and direction, as well as provide access to a network of partner ministries around the globe and the opportunity to join growing ministries around the world.

My heart was pulled to make this decision not because it sounded exciting, or because it was in Spain, or because people were telling me to do it. I was drawn to it because of the people I have met who are or have been a part of it. People who are fully alive and walking out their calling. Vibrant, mature, free people completely confident in their identity and in their Savior. The kind of people I want to learn from and be surrounded by. The kind of people I want to be like.

I am going to Spain because I have that “God nudging” feeling. The feeling that He is pulling me deeper into His calling for my life, preparing me for the greatness that He instills in every one of His children. That He is inhaling for the breath that will give life to the specific purpose and calling within me.

I’m willing to follow wherever God leads me. I wish right now that meant doing something really faith challenging and world impacting, like starting an orphanage or planting a church. But I’m not ready yet and I’m willing to admit that. I need some mentorship, some guidance and some really life changing community."
